A day of nothing

So today was pretty boring. Alex had a couple of classes today, while I had nothing to do. My life has revolved around reading. I am currently reading the Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown and honestly I don't understand why it is so controversial because it is fiction and clearly states that. I encourage everyone to read it as well as Angel's and Demon's. These are the kind of books I wish we read in High school because then I would actually have wanted to read them. Alex and I are anticipating the new Dan Brown book "The Lost Symbol" to come out because it is part of the series of Robert Langdon (The main character on Angel's and Demon's as well as The Da Vinci Code). Anyways, Alex and I are heading back home this weekend and he is going to work and Monday, since there is no school, we is going bow hunting... so I won't see him! haha. But he is going to be calling for Brandon, his co-worker, since he did not get his bow tags in time. I am excited that he finally gets to hunt though, although it will be all he talks about! This weekend I will just be resting since the past couple of night have been bad for me... my stomach has been acting up again. On a positive note, I got health insurance starting the end of the month which is good because it is moving forward with what I need to do. Let me tell you, I am so thankful for Alex's family at this point in time because they have been helping me out so much with everything. It is hard when you leave with nothing, but it has been good because I am learning. It is really been teaching me a lot more about life and now I know finally what independence feels like for once and yeah at first it was hard, but I am figuring it out one step at a time.

  1. If youare up to it I would recommend a book called Demon by Tosca Lee. It is NOT about possession but it will make you think outside the box a little. And that is good! Let me know if you get to reading it. It has become on eof my favorite books of all time. ANd another book series that is wonderful is the Ted Dekker circle series (Black, Red, White and Green) I haven't read Green yet, I just saw it on the book shelves on Wednesday. So as soon as Sean lets me I'm going to go and get it!!! I can't wait. Just wanted to pass on what some great books. Enjoy and let me know what you think!!
