Done!!!!
So I finished my last final yesterday and Alex finishes his up tomorrow afternoon. Tomorrow is going to be a very busy day though! I have to move out of my dorm by 2 and then I have a room check at 2 and Alex has his last final from 1-3 and before that I get to make fudge and help Alex prep food for Bible study... wow. But tonight is my last night at work and it will be a long night but hopefully it goes by pretty fast... But Friday we are heading back to Judith Gap and then we are going to watch the Griz Championship game on ESPN which should be super fun! Alex's truck broke down again today but thankfully the wonderful mechanic he is, he got it running after buying a couple of parts and wanting to push his truck off the bridge, it is fixed! But besides that, there is still a lot of snow on the ground and to make matters worse, it rained pretty much on and off all day meaning that the sidewalks are solid ice! Wonderful.... I really don't understand why people live in Montana! lol. Anyways, we got our Christmas shopping done thankfully and I think we did pretty good to be honest with you! We even got out of the stores alive! I hate the crowds during Christmas! I will put up some pics of Christmas in my next post!

Chest pains and clearance Halloween candy
So school has been going well. Alex is finally catching up after he made a vow to me to take easier classes next semester. We are registered for classes though for next semester... and of all the classes there are to take... Alex is taking bowling. So proud! But aside from that, he is hoping to get his core classes out of the way. I am signed up for two core classes meaning that I should have some of them done by my official freshman year. Anyways, Alex is still frustrated because he hasn't shot his buck yet, but hopefully he will tomorrow after work. The roads are starting to get bad towards Gap which means that Thanksgiving is around the corner! I started Macy's officially last Thursday and found out that because of my schedule they are going to have to move me to electronic gift card sales... fun. But anywho, I found out over a week ago that I have pleurisy which is in infection in the tissues of my chest. They said it would get better in a few days... and now it has been 9 days with miserable pain. I have gone to the clinic several times and they do nothing... at least I can breath now which hopefully means that I am getting better. Poor Alex has been taking care of me because I couldn't breath, eat or drink... what an amazing guy! Thanksgiving is just over a week... and yes that means black Friday is near and yes that means I will be working I think depending on what my new schedule looks like. I did find out that I can work at the University over break which is good... bring in a little extra money. Also, I am going to be switching to a floating job at the university, still cleaning though because of my health. The custodial staff is so amazingly awesome. Just so nice! But this next week will definitely be a busy one! But the good part about it is that we have Halloween candy to get us by!

Happy Halloween!
Yes Halloween is coming up on Saturday. Alex and I carved a pumpkin today... it was Lightning McQueen and it took us about 2 maybe 3 hours to do. It turned out pretty good though! Besides that, we are finally over whatever bug was going around finally, after like a week! I got the job at Macy's that I was hoping for and it looks like I will be starting soon. It sucks cause I can't go anywhere for the holidays but it is all good because I need the money so bad! Yesterday we went up to Superior to visit one of Alex's friends from Bible College. The drive up there is so gorgeous! I had elk for the first time up there because his parents fixed some elk burgers for us... mmmm tasty! Who know elk was better than ground beef! It is starting to get pretty chilly up here again and we might have snow tomorrow, if not by the end of the week. Gap I guess has been getting quite a bit of snow which doesn't excite me because me and cold weather equals very bad! I am going to freeze my butt off! Luckily I will be in Missoula for breaks though so that I have to deal with the -40 degree weather! Rifle season started Sunday which means that I won't be seeing much of Alex on the weekends! haha. But school is almost out for the semester and then we get a nice break which we are looking forward to. It should be nice for Alex anyways so he can catch up on his reading! But other than that, nothing new up here.

Oh the good ole days of being sick!
Well mid-terms are over finally although Alex still has to make one up from him being sick. He has been having a sore throat for just over a week now but we think that he is getting better. I had to go to Curry last Sunday night because I have been so sick. I have been having a high fever, sweats, weakness, dizziness. Who knows what it is... I know it is not the swine flu though because Alex talked to someone who did have it and he says that this is not swine flu. Curry has been telling people they have swine flu, but doesn't test you, so the common cold is going around and they are claiming that it is swine flu... we have idiots on our team! But school is going... I haven't been able to go to class or work for the past week... Both Alex and I are still on the search for jobs... which I have came to the conclusion that it is impossible to find work right now! Alex has determined that he is going to work this summer and buy a new truck... because our way back to Gap was very unpleasant... We had to stop every few few miles because we heard this squiling which thankfully was nothing too too serious. A few days before that though we were driving and heard a tick so we had to take it to the dealership to get fixed. Oh dear! So it was a rough week last week to say the least! But other than that... the weather is warming up for the week and then most likely back to snow! I got to go hunting for the first time last weekend... well sort of hunting. We chased the antelope in the truck because boys will be boys and they have to use their antelope tags! It wasn't very successful but it was still a blast!

Winter is in the air!
First snow... bummer. Friday we all woke up to a nice two or three inches of snow on the ground. It was nice to have snow, but at the same time it sucked since my appointment was early morning and I had to walk and it was icy! Speaking of appointments though, I got my thyroid test back and it was fine... but I still can't get the rest I need! I sleep great until about 4:30am and then I wake up so exhausted. Something has to be wrong that we are missing. Alex and I went back to Gap this weekend though and dealt with freezing weather... it was only one degree! But it was a weekend of rest and relaxation because you couldn't do much else due to the weather! But we went to Billings on Saturday with the family and shopped, although didn't buy because we are dirt poor college students. Blah. Sunday, after football, we headed back to Missoula. The roads weren't too bad but still some icy spots. I got to see some rams closer to Missoula, only about ten feet from the road, if that. It was pretty neat! Also, it is Antelope season as of Sunday so we followed a guy with an Antelope strapped to his truck and Alex explained to me ever so gracefully how they were gutted... GROSS! But then there was a deer on the side of the road that fell of of someones pick-up or something so I got to see what a gutted deer looked like... very flat. The thing I like is that unlike Colorado, you can hunt by the street so we saw antelope hunters as well as bird hunters... it was an eventful ride to Missoula to say the least. But, I will say that I learned a lot, I am for sure slowly becoming a Montana girl. Anyways, school is still going good. I got my classes picked out next semester and mid terms are here! Griz football is still kicking butt, 5-0 I believe. Pray it warms up for the 14th though of next month so I don't freeze to death as I watch the Griz destroy Northern Colorado!

First snow... and a job interview to go with it.
So after putting in an application to Macy's, I finally got an interview for tomorrow... so hopefully it goes well and I will be able to get the job! Aside from that, it is amazingly cold here and it snowed a little... I am just not use to the humidity when it snows so I am beyond cold... more like a Popsicle! I just found out today that I am getting another room mate most likely tomorrow. She seems really nice because she stopped by to meet me. She has to be better than my last room mate! So today I spent clearing out my stuff from her side so I am back to my cramped corridors. As far as health, Alex is doing great, I am doing better. I have not been sleeping due to hives but I have an appointment for Friday and I will get my thyroid results back as well. My hand is finally healing even though there is still a giant bruise on it, at least I can move it now! We are both doing okay in classes. Just trying to prepare for next semester. We are going back to the Gap this weekend and I am excited because I finally get to get away from campus. It is homecoming week, but of course the whether has put a damper on some activities. Like is still pretty dull though... school and work is the story of our lives!

Aww, so glad for the weekend
It had for sure been a long couple of weeks. I had a couple of Doctor's appointments and one was to get my thyroid tested. I get the results on Friday and for now I am taking a prescription sleep aid because I had to get some sleep! Anyways, I am on a new medicine that is an anti depressant that is suppose to help with the pain with out the terrible narcotics that I have been taking. work is going good still. I love having this job! Alex and I both finished the new Dan Brown book in record time... oh so good! school is going good though, it is lot's of work but it feels good to be in a real school again. It snowed three inches in Judith Gap the other day and it sleeted a little here in Missoula. It sure is humid and cold though... not use to it since Colorado is so dry. My room mate moved out yesterday so I have my room to my self... at least for now, and I love it! My health I think is doing better since I am being more active and eating better. I have been doing the M every Saturday to pass my time. I like just getting away from it all, sometimes you need it! This coming up Saturday will be one year exactly for Alex and I and I couldn't be happier! I love him to death (I mean who else will take you to the hospital and ward off freaking drunk people while I am going crazy from meds :)) Alex has been going back home almost every weekend still to work for his parents and make a couple of extra buks. I am STILL trying to find a second job, but no luck so far. But that is about it for now... our lives are pretty boring!

Doing it all again
So it has definitely been crazy around here! I have been trying to keep myself busy doing stuff and so far I have been. I have been sick for a couple of days and poor Alex had to do a 3am Walgreen's run for me because the other night I broke out in hives so bad that I made myself bleed and bruise! Yikes! Anyways, last weekend I climbed the "M" and almost got bitten by a rattlesnake which wasn't really my plan for that but whatever. If I feel better this weekend I am going to try and do the m again, avoiding the snakes. Classes are going great. Alex is somehow managing all the reading he has to do. The new Dan Brown book came out "The Lost Symbol" and it is so good! I haven't had much time to read it because I have been so exhausted from being sick. Work is still going great. My supervisor is awesome! He is compassionate to way my health has been. It is nice being a custodian, no joke, because you get time to yourself which gives you time to think. It also wears you out so you sleep good! Besides that, not much going on except that Alex and I finally got to go out again and our choice for food was... oh yeah, good old fashion Cracker Barrel! So so so good! I have my first quiz on Wednesday and Alex had his first on Thursday. I decided that I am going to change my degree to health and human sciences so that maybe I can be a nutritionist or a dietitian. This means that I am going to probably take anatomy next semester while I am still part time and don't have a work load! Pray for me!

I Got a Job!!
So today was so good. I had class as usual and then this really lame meeting called beer goggles which was pointless because I learned it all in public school! Anyways, as I was heading over to the meeting, I got a call saying that i was accepted for the job as a night custodian. I go in tomorrow to fill out the paperwork and I actually start tomorrow so I am so glad about that. I am still hoping to maybe possibly get a second job though since I do have so much time. But that is the good news of the day. The manager seems super nice but I meet him tomorrow as well as the guy that I will be working with. Yeah it isn't my dream job but it is a job and I couldn't be happier. After filling out 18 applications I am ready to work! I will putting in between 12 and 20 hours a week which works out great since I only have a couple of classes. Anyways, Alex is still waiting to hear back from his applications, he hasn't had any luck yet but I know that he will soon. I finally got my first homework assignment which I have four days to read forty pages... wow I am stressed! LOL. Other than that, my health has been absolutely horrible. Yesterday my entire leg was numb the entire day. My RA is super nice though and is always checking on me. I love that Alex has a house though because he can take care of me now. I am still loving the school though. It feels so good to be in the real world now. I am learning more than I ever have being on my own now. I absolutely love everything. Yeah I am broke and owe money but you know what, I couldn't be happier because I am doing what I want to do and not what everyone else wants me to do. I love my life the way it is right now. I love my "family" because they have been so supporting, I love my boyfriend because he treats me how all girls should be treated and takes such good care of me, and I love where I am at. Each day I am growing more and more.

Labor Day Weekend
Labor day weekend was a nice weekend of rast and relaxation... for me at least. Alex and I went back up to Gap Friday after class and stop up in 4 Mile to see his parents who were camping. It was absolutely gorgeous up there, so serene. Saturday, Alex worked and went hunting later on with his co-worker. They saw nothing but bears, a cinnamon and a black bear, who scared all the deer away and scared me! Luckily, the bears were more scared of them. Sunday was the same thing though, more hunting and working. My weekend consisted of resting since my stomach has been acting up. Monday Alex's parents came back, we packed our things and headed back to the Gap. Very eventful I know! But now we are back at school. My stomach has been getting worse daily. I have never had symptoms like I recently have been having such as my leg going numb from pain. I am working on seeing a doctor here on campus though because my GI doctor wants me to see a female doctor. Pray that goes well... I am too young to be violated! Anyways... I have a ever so wonderful presentation tonight about sex which is... well welcome to secular school! Haha. Tomorrow I have a beer goggles presentation which is about what beer can do to you... I have already been to public school though so I don't feel the need to go to these even though they are required. All it is going to be about is what you can witness in high school! Pointless! Aside from that, school is going well, I am eager to start full time though so I have something to do!

A day of nothing
So today was pretty boring. Alex had a couple of classes today, while I had nothing to do. My life has revolved around reading. I am currently reading the Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown and honestly I don't understand why it is so controversial because it is fiction and clearly states that. I encourage everyone to read it as well as Angel's and Demon's. These are the kind of books I wish we read in High school because then I would actually have wanted to read them. Alex and I are anticipating the new Dan Brown book "The Lost Symbol" to come out because it is part of the series of Robert Langdon (The main character on Angel's and Demon's as well as The Da Vinci Code). Anyways, Alex and I are heading back home this weekend and he is going to work and Monday, since there is no school, we is going bow hunting... so I won't see him! haha. But he is going to be calling for Brandon, his co-worker, since he did not get his bow tags in time. I am excited that he finally gets to hunt though, although it will be all he talks about! This weekend I will just be resting since the past couple of night have been bad for me... my stomach has been acting up again. On a positive note, I got health insurance starting the end of the month which is good because it is moving forward with what I need to do. Let me tell you, I am so thankful for Alex's family at this point in time because they have been helping me out so much with everything. It is hard when you leave with nothing, but it has been good because I am learning. It is really been teaching me a lot more about life and now I know finally what independence feels like for once and yeah at first it was hard, but I am figuring it out one step at a time.

Rest and relaxation... Not many college students get to say that!
Today for me consisted of relaxing and enjoying school life. I had my first meeting today for school and it was my dorm floor meeting which as you can already guess, was boring! But there I FINALLY met someone who is just two doors down and seems super nice, eager to have some girl friends... like me! I have some pictures of my dorm that are up. Its small but it's home. I love my two classes that I have and am so eager to get the ball rolling on full time status.... I need a life! It is so hard to sit and do nothing all day. I am trying so hard to get a job but no replys yet. I think I will start putting apps in with the school. Anyways, I think that I finally decided on a major... I think I am going to stick with pre-law and possibly so health and human studies to be a nutritionist. Who knew that picking a degree would be so hard! But then again it is what I will be doing my whole life. Why can't they have a degree for being a stay at home mom! My health has been doing okay. I have had a couple spurts of pain over the past couple weeks. Alex's place is really coming along. They finally got a dinning room table so it is looking more and more like a bachelor pad every day! My address here at the school that you can get a hold of me by is: 153 Knowles Hall, Missoula, MT. 59801.

First day if School
Well school started today... I am officially a Griz. I am going part time for this semester and next so that next year I can apply for in state tuition. I just had my first class this morning which is art appreciation and I absolutely love it! My next class is yet to come in about an hour or so and that is Christianity. I am applying for possibly an overnight job since it does pay more and then I can start paying Alex's parents back. I am so thankful to have them because they have helped me out so much this summer! Alex and I went to Wyoming a couple of weeks ago to visit my grandparents. We did a lot when we were down there and even visited
